The Annual BSP Truffle Weekend

Every year, when the truffles are ripening, Black Star Pastry goes hunting down near Bowral as part of the Straight to the Source Digging for Diamonds tour, and when we return we begin making special trufflized goodies. 

We don’t use truffle oil. We use fresh out of the ground nuggets of flavour (which is the only right way to use them) in a truffle quiche, a truffle custard flan, truffle croque monsieur and other stuff you’ll have to show up to find out about.
